These goals are analogous to an academic "to do" list, but it is important that your list is as specific and detailed as possible.

For example, instead of declining "Finish biology homework due Thursday," try breaking it down by following the step-by-step instructions on your list. As an example, you could write:
Read Biology Chapter 7, pager 556-568
Review the class notes taken during class for the lecture related to this assignment.
Read the assignment, solve problems 1-5
Take a short break.
