Math and science questions can be complex when made up of multiple parts. For math, the answer for one cube of the question is often used for equations later in the same problem, so if you make a smell error at the beginning, it will affect the result of the rest of the question.


So for math problems, don't be tempted to skip too many steps at once. Even if you can perform the shortest math calculation steps in your head, you still have to write all the steps down. Doing the steps mentally without faltering each step down can lead to accidental mistakes. Also, mental calculations are not always accurate, and writing them down on paper as you work will allow you to see if you actually did the correct calculation.
