As mentioned before, breaking down your "To-do list" makes the task of studying more comfortable and less stressful. Here's another example of writing specific step-by-step academic goals. What would you write instead of "Study 5 hours after school tomorrow"?
Home from school at 3:00 pm, eat a light snack.
In Chemistry chemistry textbook: Read Chapter 4, pages 45-58 to 4pm.
View notes taken in chemistry class over the past two weeks.
Reread the last two chemistry homework assignments that will be tested on this exam.
Try to do the problems of these two homework again to practice until 6:00 pm.
Take a short break.
Read "Othello" for English Lesson, pages 78-96 to 7pm
Go back and take notes on the characters in "Othello" for tomorrow's pop quiz.
Finish at 8pm, dinner with family
